Overview

DoorDash is seeking a Manager of Emerging Retail Partnerships to lead and scale enterprise-level partnerships in the retail and logistics space. This role requires 8+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 8+ years of experience in early stage business development, account management, client success, or strategic partnerships in technology or high growth / early stage startups. You are skilled at managing and cultivating enterprise relationships with leading retailers and ecommerce logistics players that drive significant growth. You have a proven track record of leading renewals and upsell opportunities with existing merchant partners, shaping product roadmaps, and informing go-to-market strategies based on merchant feedback. You excel at serving as a liaison between partners and internal teams, including leadership, product, legal, operations, and logistics. You are adept at identifying and pursuing creative growth opportunities within the organization and have experience managing and coaching a partner management team to achieve best-in-class results.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building out a team while managing and scaling enterprise-level partnerships in the retail and logistics space. You will operate at a startup pace for one of DoorDash’s fastest and most promising new bets. Your responsibilities will include managing and cultivating relationships with leading retailers and ecommerce logistics players, leading renewals and upsell opportunities with existing merchant partners, and shaping product roadmaps based on merchant feedback. You will serve as the liaison between partners and DoorDash leadership, product, legal, operations, and logistics teams, informing goals for growth and revenue. You will also identify and pursue creative growth opportunities within the Drive organization and manage, coach, and build out a best-in-class partner management team.
