Amazon is hiring an Electrical Design & Verification Engineer to work on the Leo Optical ISL Development initiative. You'll focus on the design verification of high-performance communication systems and develop Test SW using Python. This position requires experience in electrical engineering and verification processes.
You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in design verification for high-performance communication systems. You are skilled in developing Test SW, particularly using Python, and have a solid understanding of data collection and analysis processes. You thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating closely with PCBA design engineers, harness engineers, and embedded software developers. You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in your work. You are proactive in seeking improvements and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging setting.
Experience with lab test equipment and automated functional checkout tests is a plus. Familiarity with avionics systems and satellite communication technologies would be beneficial. You are adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your contributions to the team.
