Squarepoint Capital is hiring a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing across the U.S. and Canada. You'll work with ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Excel to ensure compliance and support global payroll projects. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
You are a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with experience in managing payroll processes across multiple jurisdictions, including the U.S. and Canada. You possess strong analytical skills and are adept at prioritizing conflicting tasks while maintaining a focus on stakeholder responsiveness. Your effective communication and relationship-building abilities enable you to thrive in a people-first team environment. You are self-motivated and disciplined, with a proven track record of managing payroll changes and ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements. Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other office suite products.
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for all AMER jurisdictions, which includes onboarding, offboarding, and payroll changes across various cycles. You will ensure that all payroll imports, validations, corrections, approvals, and confirmations are handled efficiently. Additionally, you will play a key role in year-end preparation, providing necessary information to the Internal Tax and Finance teams to facilitate a smooth year-end close. You will coordinate with payroll vendors, such as ADP, to ensure timely updates and address any queries that arise. Your role will also involve collaborating with the internal HRIS team to manage any necessary triage and investigations related to payroll processes. You will contribute to global payroll projects as needed, supporting the Global Payroll Manager and the wider payroll team.
At Squarepoint Capital, you will be part of a growing team in a dynamic environment that values collaboration and innovation. We offer competitive compensation and opportunities for professional development. You will have the chance to work with a diverse group of professionals and contribute to the success of our global payroll initiatives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value curiosity and a growth mindset.
