Pellet Mill Operator

Who you are

As a Pellet Mill Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining several pellet mills, ensuring optimal feed rates and monitoring pellet quality to meet company standards. You have a keen eye for detail and are committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You understand the importance of following workplace and job safety procedures and are dedicated to producing high-quality pellets. You are comfortable analyzing equipment performance and making necessary adjustments to tooling and equipment to achieve desired throughput and quality results.

You possess the ability to perform and document required inspections of equipment, ensuring it remains in good condition. You are familiar with reviewing work order specifications or instructions to determine the materials and procedures needed for pellet production. You have experience adjusting machine components to regulate speed, pressure, and temperatures, as well as the flow of materials and ingredients. Your troubleshooting skills allow you to monitor machine operations effectively, observing indicator lights and gauges to detect malfunctions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will analyze equipment performance and make necessary tooling and equipment changes to produce desired throughput and quality results. You will perform and document required inspections of equipment and maintain it in good condition. You will review work order specifications or instructions to determine materials, ingredients, and procedures for producing pellets. Adjusting machine components to regulate speed, pressure, and temperatures will be part of your daily tasks, as well as monitoring machine operations and observing indicator lights and gauges to detect malfunctions.

You will perform and coordinate maintenance on equipment per job instructions and ensure that housekeeping is maintained to required standards. Your commitment to maintaining consistent production quality will be essential to meeting company standards. You will follow all workplace and job safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
