You have a strong background in satellite technology and radiation effects, with experience leading teams in a technical environment. Your leadership skills enable you to mentor and guide engineers, fostering a high-performing team culture. You are strategic in your approach, developing long-term plans for radiation effects analysis and testing. You possess a deep understanding of space radiation environments and the challenges they present to satellite operations. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical, Mechanical, and Systems engineers, is essential for success in this role. You are committed to ensuring the reliability and resilience of satellite systems in various orbits.

What you'll do

As the Radiation Effects Team Lead, you will oversee the simulation and modeling of space radiation environments, ensuring that Astranis satellites can withstand the challenges of high orbits. You will direct radiation testing campaigns, including component up-screening and failure analysis, to guarantee the integrity of satellite systems. Your role will involve setting technical direction for your team and guiding execution on critical projects. You will develop and implement strategies for radiation effects mitigation, ensuring that all satellites meet stringent reliability and performance standards. Collaboration with other engineering teams will be key, as you work together to address complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
