Overview

Headway is seeking a VP of Sales to lead their Provider Sales team focused on SMB sales in the mental health sector. This role involves driving sales strategies and managing a large team to enhance provider engagement. Experience in sales leadership is essential.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales leadership, ideally with over 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your background includes managing large teams and driving sales strategies that result in significant growth. You understand the nuances of SMB sales and have a passion for improving access to mental health care. You are adept at building relationships and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages team success. You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to interpret sales data and adjust strategies accordingly. You are committed to Headway's mission of making mental health care accessible to everyone, and you thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Desirable

Experience in the healthcare or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with sales enablement tools and CRM systems. You have a network of contacts within the mental health community and understand the challenges providers face in accepting insurance. You are comfortable with public speaking and can represent Headway at industry events and conferences.

What you'll do

As the VP of Sales, you will lead the Provider Sales team, which consists of 200 FTEs focused on SMB sales. You will develop and implement sales strategies that align with Headway's mission and goals, ensuring that the team meets its targets for provider engagement. You will work closely with the Revenue Enablement team to provide the necessary training and resources for your sales representatives. You will analyze sales metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize effectiveness. You will collaborate with other departments, including marketing and product development, to ensure that the sales team has the tools and information needed to succeed. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
