AI Product Manager

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in AI and machine learning, and you understand how to leverage these technologies to enhance user experiences. Your background includes working with data models, pipelines, and deployment strategies, ensuring that AI solutions are effectively integrated into products. You thrive in collaborative environments and are skilled at communicating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. You have a strong ability to prioritize and make strategic decisions about AI investments that align with business goals. Your experience includes working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and engineers, to deliver impactful AI solutions. You are passionate about using technology to improve safety and customer experience, and you are committed to fostering a supportive workplace culture.

Desirable

Experience with edge computing and resource-constrained environments is a plus, as is familiarity with MLOps practices. You may also have a background in hardware integration for AI applications, which will help shape the edge AI experiences at SimpliSafe.

What you'll do

As the Senior AI Product Manager, you will define and communicate the multi-year roadmap for AI and machine learning capabilities at SimpliSafe. You will identify and prioritize opportunities where AI can enhance safety, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Your role involves making build-vs-buy decisions for AI capabilities in collaboration with data science and engineering teams. You will partner with data scientists, ML engineers, and MLOps to design and deliver end-to-end machine learning solutions, from problem framing through data collection, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring. You will also work closely with hardware and embedded teams to shape AI experiences on devices, ensuring low-latency and efficient processing. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement of AI initiatives post-launch, ensuring they meet user needs and business objectives.
