Directive Consulting is seeking a VP of Finance to ensure the overall financial health of the business. You'll manage financial processes and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership and financial acumen.
You have extensive experience in finance, ideally with a focus on B2B performance marketing or similar industries. Your background includes managing financial health across various timeframes—past, present, and future—ensuring accuracy in historical data and compliance with legal requirements. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at providing insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and accountability, empowering your team to achieve departmental goals. You understand the importance of maintaining and growing cash flow while setting proper goals with department heads. Experience in a marketing agency or SaaS environment would be a plus, as would familiarity with financial modeling and budget management. You are comfortable working with technology and have a keen understanding of how finance intersects with operations and strategy. As the VP of Finance at Directive Consulting, you will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring that all financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and guidelines. You will lead a team of four direct reports, including two in accounting and two in IT, and will have the opportunity to bring on a Financial Analyst within your first six months. Your role will involve developing and implementing financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives, including managing an annual budget of approximately $850k for your department. You will work closely with department heads to set financial goals and ensure that margins are upheld. Your insights will be crucial in guiding the company’s financial decisions and strategies, helping to shape the future of marketing at Directive.
