Overview

Braze is seeking a Senior Account Executive to own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You'll work closely with customers as a trusted advisor to help them grow and scale their business. This role requires a strong sales background and a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role, where you've successfully managed the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven by results, always looking for ways to exceed your targets and contribute to the team's success. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients is key — you understand their needs and can effectively communicate how your solutions can help them achieve their goals.

You are a relentless 'hunter' — identifying, prioritizing, and reaching out to potential clients is second nature to you. You are comfortable working with various stakeholders, including marketing, product, and technical executives, and you can adapt your communication style to suit different audiences. Your curiosity and eagerness to learn about your clients' businesses enable you to provide tailored solutions that drive growth.

You believe in the power of teamwork and collaboration — you enjoy working alongside a diverse group of colleagues who share your passion for success. You are open to feedback and new perspectives, always looking for ways to improve both personally and professionally. Desirable

Experience in a technology or SaaS company is a plus, as is familiarity with marketing automation or customer engagement platforms. You have a strong understanding of the sales process and are skilled in using CRM tools to manage your pipeline effectively. If you have experience working with enterprise clients, that would be an added advantage.

What you'll do

As a Senior Account Executive on the Scale team at Braze, you will take ownership of the entire sales process, from identifying potential clients to closing deals.
