Sr Program Manager – Performance Mgmt- I Have Space (IHS) & AmFlex, India Transportation Last Mile

At Amazon Logistics, we are building a world-class last mile operation, significantly complimented by our delivery services- I Have Space (IHS) and Amazon Flex. While IHS is a business opportunity in which a local store owner can partner with Amazon and provide delivery service in neighborhood areas and can earn additional income, Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors, called delivery partners, to make deliveries to our customers. With this model, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages. Both programs are powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems.
We are continuing to build a high paced and lean India team to implement and expand our last mile capabilities across key segments of IN Transportation. Amazon is now looking to hire an experienced, passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and (most importantly) customer-obsessed program manager. We are seeking a Sr. Program Manager in India to help establish Amazon Transportation’s last mile delivery as the preferred provider in this specific space. Internally, this leader will work directly with functions that cut across the organization, including technology, transportation, operations and customer service, to drive a great customer experience for our program.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, highly analytical and detail-oriented, possess superior interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable working independently to drive growth and change in a fast-paced environment. Bias for action is an absolute must, and candidates must demonstrate a superior track record of delivering results.
Key job responsibilities
- Ensure a best-in-class safety, quality and productivity metrics.
- Analyze key metrics from the operation of the program and implement initiatives to drive improvements including new technology developments.
- Optimize and standardize the delivery partner experience journey.
- Create strategy and take actions to develop delivery partner performance improvement with multiple stakeholders including Product, Technology, ACES, Service Level Standards, WW Program teams, Legal, PR, and Operations
- Lead and coordinate large, complicated projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Build curated strategies to drive performance for new business aspects
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
