Amazon is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its Withholding Tax team within the Foreign Reporting Group in our India office.
As a member of the Withholding Tax team, the Senior Tax Analyst will support the global local tax teams on various projects and deliverables to serve our internal customers. Areas of responsibility include compliance, research and analysis. A highly organized, self-starter with excellent communication and time management skills will be successful on this team.
Key job responsibilities
- Monthly review of general ledger activity for withholding tax assessment
- Undertaking withholding tax calculations and complying with withholding tax payments
- Prepare, research and comply with withholding tax filings
- Assist in researching and preparing customer requests for local treaty forms related to withholding taxes
- Prepare and maintain monthly tax reconciliations
- Assist in supporting on withholding tax considerations for new countries, projects and business lines.- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- CPA
