Google is seeking a Senior Business Auditor to enhance internal audit processes and ensure compliance with regulations. You'll leverage your expertise in data analytics and risk assessment to provide insights that protect organizational value. This role requires 7+ years of experience in internal audit.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 7 years of experience in an internal audit role. Your background includes a strong understanding of internal controls and business processes, which you have applied in various auditing scenarios. You are a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or hold similar certifications, showcasing your commitment to the field. You have experience auditing regulated financial products and interacting with financial service regulators, which has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex compliance landscapes. Your expertise extends to systems auditing, data analytics, and data interpretation, allowing you to derive meaningful insights from data. You excel in performing risk assessments and designing or implementing internal controls, ensuring that audits are thorough and effective. Your excellent communication skills enable you to convey audit findings and recommendations to a diverse range of stakeholders, including executive leadership.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting audits related to regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that the organization adheres to established standards. You will monitor the risk environment across Alphabet and provide insights that enable effective risk management. Collaborating closely with teams and leadership, you will help achieve a strong control environment that enhances and protects organizational value. You will educate and advocate for the importance of controls and the value of Internal Audit, fostering a culture of compliance and accountability. Your ability to manage and coordinate multiple project assignments in a fluid environment will be crucial as you accept ownership of the audit process and deliver on commitments. You will communicate audit findings and recommendations to a variety of stakeholders, ensuring that all parties understand the implications and necessary actions. Your role will also involve mentoring junior auditors and contributing to the development of the audit team, helping to build a strong foundation of control expertise within the organization.
