What you'll do

As the Lead Counsel for Product & IP at Celonis, you will serve as a legal business partner to the Product and Engineering organizations. You will be responsible for supporting new product and feature development, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and managing the company's patent portfolio. Your role will involve embedding legal guidance into the product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to launch and end-of-life motions. You will also work closely with the Vice President & AGC, Commercial and Product, to align legal strategies with business objectives.

You will be expected to provide creative and collaborative legal solutions that facilitate product innovation while mitigating risks. Your expertise will help shape best practices within the organization, ensuring that legal considerations are integrated into the decision-making process. You will also play a key role in educating teams about legal implications and fostering a culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
