Overview

Carvana is seeking an Automotive State Inspector to perform quality inspections and light maintenance on vehicles. This role requires 1+ years of professional automotive repair experience and offers competitive wages and benefits.

Who you are

You have at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience, which has equipped you with the skills necessary to conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on vehicles. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English, ensuring that you can understand and follow safety protocols and inspection guidelines. You are detail-oriented, able to identify imperfections or repairs needed throughout the post-production process, and you take pride in ensuring that vehicles meet high-quality standards before they reach customers.

You are eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry, and you appreciate the opportunity for training programs that Carvana offers to help you advance your skills and pay. You are comfortable working in a high-tech environment, utilizing state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's Inspection Centers. Your commitment to quality and safety makes you a valuable addition to the team.

Desirable

While not required, any additional certifications such as ASE would be beneficial. Experience with specific automotive technologies or tools can also enhance your candidacy.

What you'll do

As an Automotive State Inspector at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing light maintenance and fluid checks on vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition. You will conduct quality inspections to identify any imperfections or repairs needed, playing a crucial role in the post-production process. Your attention to detail will help maintain Carvana's reputation for high-quality vehicles.

You will work closely with other technicians and team members in the Inspection Center, collaborating to ensure that all vehicles meet the necessary standards before they are delivered to customers. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive repair and inspection.

In this role, you will be expected to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools and technology to perform your duties efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of Carvana's operations.
