Esri is hiring a Technical Consultant – Operations Engineer for Managed Cloud Services to provide enterprise system support for complex GIS implementations. You'll deploy and support ArcGIS in cloud environments like AWS and Azure, requiring strong technical expertise and customer-facing skills.

You have a strong technical background with experience in deploying and supporting enterprise systems, particularly in GIS implementations. You are comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team environment and have a knack for learning quickly, especially when it comes to new cloud technologies. Your expertise in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure enables you to automate and streamline operations effectively.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Technical Consultant, you will work closely with a cross-functional team to deploy cloud solutions for a diverse range of customers, including commercial entities, utilities, and government organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to deploy and support customer ArcGIS deployments in AWS and Azure, ensuring that operations are automated and streamlined. You will build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, which will be crucial for troubleshooting and resolving issues in customer environments.

You will also be involved in researching and developing solutions using new cloud technologies, which will enhance existing deployments and contribute to the development of new offerings.
