Senior Consultant Infrastructure Engineer

You have a strong background in infrastructure engineering, with experience in building and evolving systems that support software delivery. You are comfortable working within diverse teams, collaborating with individuals at various levels of experience to find effective solutions that meet organizational needs. Your technical expertise is complemented by a deep understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices, which you champion as a means to achieve better outcomes for clients. You are proactive in monitoring project deliverables and ensuring that technical expectations are consistently met. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, always seeking ways to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms and automation tools is a plus, as is familiarity with continuous delivery processes. You are someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys sharing knowledge with others, helping to shape and build the cloud and infrastructure practice within your organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with clients to launch projects through hands-on implementation, evaluating existing infrastructure and driving improvements to meet their ambitious business goals. You will explore client needs and collaborate on building a technical roadmap that supports their objectives. Your responsibilities will include shaping and building ThoughtWorks’ cloud and infrastructure practice through collaboration with other practitioners, business development, marketing, and capabilities development teams. You will ensure that controls and processes for continuous delivery and evolution of infrastructure and applications are in place, driving automation through all stages of the process. You will take a proactive role in monitoring project deliverables and ensuring that technical expectations are consistently met. Your expertise in DevOps, cloud, platform, and infrastructure engineering will be invaluable both internally and at client sites.
