Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience as a Frontend Engineer, with a strong command of HTML and CSS, including SCSS/SASS. Your expertise in JavaScript ES6+ is complemented by your ability to conduct cross-browser and device testing, ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms. You are proficient in GIT for version control and have experience working with JSON data structures and integrating APIs. Your familiarity with SSO systems integration, such as OIDC, showcases your ability to handle complex authentication processes. You are also competent in using task management tools like JIRA and documenting front-end solutions to facilitate team collaboration.

In addition to your core skills, you have experience with modern frontend frameworks like React and Redux, which you leverage to build responsive web applications. You understand the importance of web performance optimization and adhere to web accessibility standards, ensuring that your applications are usable by all. Your knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques further enhances the visibility and usability of the products you develop. You are comfortable using tools like NPM and Bower for dependency management and Gulp for task automation and build processes.

Desirable

While not required, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines would be a plus, as it aligns with your commitment to delivering high-quality software efficiently. You are eager to learn and grow, sharing your knowledge with team members and contributing to a collaborative environment.

What you'll do

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Pulselive, you will take full ownership of your work, breaking tasks into manageable pieces and identifying blockers to ensure timely delivery of solutions. You will manage code releases to internal environments, including development and testing, and may handle releases to production environments as needed. Your keen attention to detail will ensure that the final product is polished and meets the highest standards.

You will collaborate closely with team members, communicating clearly and effectively to deliver the best possible solutions. Your role will involve designing and implementing secure, scalable solutions that meet both functional and technical requirements. You will also be responsible for integrating third-party libraries and applications, such as video providers, to enhance the functionality of the products you develop.

What we offer

You will have the opportunity to grow your skills and expertise while contributing to innovative solutions for millions of sports fans around the world. We offer a competitive salary banding of £60,640 - £73,000, reflecting your experience and contributions to the team. Join us in our mission to create engaging experiences for sports enthusiasts globally.
