Cloud Consultant, Data Analytics

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in a client-facing, technical consulting, or technical support role. Your background includes experience with cloud data migration, and you possess excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. You have a strong understanding of designing and deploying large-scale distributed data processing systems using technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Hadoop, and Spark. Additionally, you are familiar with reading software code in languages like Java, JavaScript, and Python, and have knowledge of AI/ML and Generative AI.

Desirable

An MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is preferred, along with 7 years of experience in technical client services. You are adept at interacting with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks, and timelines for successful client outcomes.

What you'll do

As a Cloud Consultant for Big Data at Google, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of our customers and help shape the future of businesses of all sizes using technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners. You will work closely with internal specialists, Product, and Engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets. Your responsibilities will include managing project scope and deliverables, ensuring that client outcomes are met successfully. You will also be involved in designing and deploying data processing systems, leveraging your expertise in various data technologies to provide optimal solutions for clients.
