Datadog is seeking a Regional Director for Enterprise Sales in Jakarta to drive sales strategy and manage a high-performing team. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in B2B technology sales.

Who you are

You have over 10 years of experience in building and managing high-performing Enterprise Sales teams within a B2B technology environment in Indonesia. Your strong relationship-building skills have enabled you to foster connections with key stakeholders and drive successful sales outcomes. You are adept at coaching and mentoring sales executives, guiding them through complex negotiations and helping them achieve their targets. Your strategic mindset allows you to shape go-to-market strategies that align with the unique needs of your region.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on achieving sales quotas. Your experience includes developing productivity metrics for your team, ensuring they are equipped to succeed in their roles. You understand the importance of collaboration with marketing, product, and customer success teams to create effective messaging and customer journeys tailored to your market.

Desirable

Experience in the technology sector, particularly with cloud-based solutions, is a plus. Familiarity with sales forecasting and pipeline management tools will enhance your ability to lead your team effectively. You are a proactive leader who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves and engage directly with clients and prospects to drive business growth.

What you'll do

As the Regional Director for Enterprise Sales at Datadog, you will be responsible for driving the sales strategy and execution for the Indonesian market. You will manage, hire, train, and ramp a team of Enterprise Sales Executives who will be tasked with generating new business and expanding existing accounts. Achieving annual Enterprise bookings quotas will be a key focus, with monthly and quarterly targets set to ensure accountability and performance.

You will coach your team on productivity metrics, including deal size, win rates, and forecast accuracy, while guiding them through the sales cycle. Building executive relationships with named Enterprise accounts will be crucial, as you navigate complex deals and negotiations. You will also shape the direction of the go-to-market strategy for your region, ensuring alignment with Datadog's overall objectives.

Collaboration will be a significant part of your role, as you work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to develop targeted messaging and collateral. Conducting weekly forecast meetings will help you track progress and adjust strategies as needed. You will support your direct reports by participating in client and prospect meetings, leveraging corporate resources to enhance sales efforts.
