Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to design and implement finance systems. You'll work with SAP FI and SQL to build integrated systems that enhance operational efficiency. This role requires 8 years of relevant experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience designing and implementing finance systems. Your expertise includes full-cycle SAP FI implementations and support projects, demonstrating your ability to build integrated systems throughout their entire life-cycle — from analysis and design to testing and support.

You possess a certification in SAP FI (S/4 HANA) and have experience with asset accounting and project systems. Your familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, authoring functional specifications, system configuration, and testing, showcases your comprehensive understanding of system development.

Your technical expertise allows you to listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications. You are adept at consulting with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation of systems that improve operational efficiency. You thrive in environments where you can identify time-consuming internal processes and build reliable, scalable solutions.

You are skilled in data analysis and have a strong command of SQL, which enables you to analyze data effectively and make informed decisions. Your ability to influence the design of features that enhance the reliability of applications and systems is a testament to your problem-solving skills.

Desirable

Experience with cross-functional topics and ensuring alignment across SAP modules and other supporting applications is a plus. You have a knack for leading the demand management process, assisting the business in establishing business cases related to new systems or existing system changes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of finance systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and remove roadblocks that hinder progress, leveraging your technical expertise to build business applications that enhance efficiency.
