Overview

Relativity is seeking a Principal Structural Analyst for their Turbomachinery team to develop and deliver high-performance engines for the Terran R vehicle. This role requires expertise in structural analysis and a strong background in engineering principles.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in structural analysis, particularly in the context of turbomachinery or aerospace applications. Your background includes a deep understanding of engineering principles and the ability to apply them to complex problems. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by a strong attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of your work meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

You are comfortable with the entire lifecycle of engineering projects, from initial design through production and qualification. Your experience includes working with advanced materials and manufacturing processes, allowing you to contribute effectively to the development of cutting-edge technologies. You are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible in aerospace engineering and are eager to make a significant impact in your role.

Desirable

Experience with rocket propulsion systems or similar high-performance applications would be a plus. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to aerospace engineering is also desirable. You may have a background in project management, enabling you to lead initiatives and mentor junior engineers effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting structural analyses of turbomachinery components, ensuring their performance and reliability under various operating conditions. You will collaborate with design engineers to optimize component designs and validate them through rigorous testing and analysis. Your work will directly contribute to the success of the Terran R vehicle, helping to meet the growing demand for launch capacity.
