What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and development of a Kong-based API Gateway that hosts thousands of APIs. You will define and enforce API product standards, ensuring that they meet the highest quality benchmarks. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the architecture and implementation of mission-critical services.

You will work closely with developers to understand their needs and challenges, providing guidance and support to enhance their productivity. Your role will involve evaluating and integrating cutting-edge AI tools into the development process, aiming to improve code quality and accelerate development cycles.

You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of APIs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance reliability and user experience. Your leadership will directly impact the success of Ridgeline’s API platform, as you drive innovation and best practices across the engineering team.
