Handshake is seeking Cost Estimators to contribute to an AI training project. You'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and provide structured feedback. This role is remote and flexible, requiring no prior AI experience.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in a relevant field, which equips you with the context needed to evaluate and train AI models effectively. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing AI-generated content and providing valuable feedback that enhances the model's understanding of workplace tasks and language. You are comfortable working independently and can manage your time flexibly, averaging 5-20 hours per week.
You are open to learning new skills and contributing to the development of AI tools designed to upskill the next generation of skilled trade workers. Your ability to analyze blueprints and documentation will be beneficial in preparing time, cost, materials, and labor estimates, which is a key part of the evaluation process.
While no prior AI experience is required, familiarity with AI concepts and a willingness to engage with new technologies will be advantageous. You should be able to communicate clearly and structure your feedback effectively, ensuring that it is actionable and relevant to the AI training process.
In this role, you will participate in an hourly, temporary AI research project, contributing your professional insights to help train AI models.
