Overview

KnowBe4 is hiring an SMB Account Executive to drive sales initiatives and close deals in the SMB sector. You'll be responsible for running online demos of the Security Awareness Training Platform. This role requires strong sales skills and a passion for cybersecurity.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the SMB sector, where you've successfully executed the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Your ability to engage with clients and understand their needs is paramount, as you will be promoting and selling KnowBe4’s range of products and services. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values radical transparency and continuous professional development.

You are comfortable with technology and have a keen interest in cybersecurity, understanding the importance of security awareness training in today’s digital landscape. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to effectively run online demos and articulate the value of KnowBe4’s offerings to potential clients. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of the sales process with ease, ensuring a smooth experience for your customers.

Desirable

Experience in the cybersecurity industry or a related field would be a plus, as it would enhance your ability to connect with clients and address their specific security needs. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales methodologies will also be beneficial in this role, helping you to manage your pipeline effectively and track your progress.

What you'll do

As an SMB Account Executive at KnowBe4, you will be at the forefront of the company’s growth initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to execute the full sales cycle, which includes prospecting, conducting online demos, and closing net new business. You will work closely with potential clients to understand their security training needs and demonstrate how KnowBe4’s platform can transform their workforce into a strong security asset.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring that they receive the highest level of service throughout the sales process. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to engage potential clients effectively. You will also collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and initiatives.

In addition to your sales responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall strategy of the sales team. Your insights and feedback will be valuable in refining sales processes and improving customer engagement strategies. As you demonstrate success in the SMB market, there may be opportunities for promotion to Mid-Market or Enterprise sales roles, allowing you to further advance your career within the company.
