Google is seeking an Accountant for Inventory Operations to manage core accounting responsibilities and support financial reporting. You'll work with project planning and cross-functional teams, requiring a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA or CA certification.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience, and hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation. With at least 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree, you are well-versed in accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end. Your collaborative style allows you to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams, and you possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills. You are proactive in proposing next steps and solutions to roadblocks, demonstrating excellent investigative skills and the ability to communicate effectively with executive management.
An MBA or MSA degree is preferred, along with experience managing project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and project documentation. You are focused on continuous improvement and are eager to help your team become more efficient and effective.
As an Accountant in Inventory Operations at Google, you will handle core accounting responsibilities, advising on financial reports required by governmental regulations. You will review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports, ensuring compliance with SOX controls and running processes according to risk assessment and control frameworks. Your role will involve supporting the team in driving higher quality standards in the Assets and Inventory register, reconciliations, and reporting produced for local audits and close reporting. You will collaborate with global teams, advocating best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of A2R processes.
