Smarsh is seeking a Federal Sales Account Executive to drive new business revenue by identifying and closing sales opportunities within the federal government. This role requires strong business development skills and the ability to manage relationships effectively.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the federal sector, and understand the nuances of government contracting. Your experience includes identifying new business opportunities and developing sales strategies that align with organizational goals. You are skilled in building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the value of your products to potential clients. You thrive in a results-driven environment and are motivated by exceeding sales targets. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. In this role, you will report to the Federal Sales lead and be responsible for generating new business revenue. You will identify new sales opportunities and build sales channels that align with Smarsh's strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing the entire sales process from opportunity identification to proposal development and award. You will engage with federal government clients and the Department of Defense, cultivating relationships that facilitate the sale of Smarsh products. You will strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets, ensuring that your efforts contribute to the overall growth of the company. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of your clients, leveraging your understanding of compliance and risk management in digital communications.
