Acceptance Test Bench Development - Internship

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

We want you as a talented test bench development intern to learn and help us in our mission by supporting the Assembly, Integration and Testing team for the Storm engine.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from the inside core of the testing team how to construct an acceptance system for a highly complex rocket engine.

What we would like you to support with:

• Learn and support requirements definition and writing of an acceptance test bench

• Participate in the acceptance procedure definition

• Participate in procurement of critical items of the test bench

• Build and assemble skids and subsystems for an acceptance test bench

• Support assembly and integration of test articles

• Participate in the complete life cycle of a test bench, from design, to assembly and active testing

What we would love to see from you:

• Engineering degree in space/mechanical field or equivalent (recently graduated or currently in studies)

• Willingness to contribute to build and support test means

• Organized and rigorous

• Hands-on approach

• Inventive and problem solver

• Team spirit

• Good communication skills and fluency in English

• Adaptive and eager to learn
