What you'll do

In your role as Datacenter IT Operations Manager-Logistics, you will lead efforts to onboard and operationalize new datacenter capacity, ensuring that all logistics processes are streamlined and efficient. You will collaborate with the Datacenter Operations Manager and project managers to drive initiatives that enhance operational performance. Your responsibilities will include overseeing incident and outage processes, conducting thorough root cause analyses, and coordinating with site contacts to ensure effective follow-up. You will also be responsible for implementing best practices in logistics management, contributing to the overall success of Microsoft's cloud operations.

You will play a key role in supporting the infrastructure that powers Microsoft's online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Azure. Your leadership will help maintain the high standards expected of a world-class cloud provider, and you will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the datacenter operations team. As part of your duties, you will also engage in strategic planning to anticipate future capacity needs and ensure that the datacenter infrastructure can scale effectively.
