Your background includes 2+ years of design or architecture experience, where you've worked with design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems. You are proficient in programming with at least one software programming language, demonstrating your versatility and technical skills. You have a solid understanding of the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field complements your technical expertise, allowing you to thrive in a collaborative environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with an internal inter-disciplinary team and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution, and testing. You will be responsible for engaging with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products, contributing to the development of high-profile devices like the Kindle, Fire tablets, and Amazon Echo. Your ability to be responsive and flexible will be crucial as you navigate an open collaborative peer environment. You will also participate in the full software development life cycle, ensuring that your contributions align with the company's goals and customer needs.
