Senior Software Engineer, Backend Development (Playable Ads)

Who you are

You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in building production systems that scale effectively. You have a strong grasp of distributed systems and modern backend architecture, having owned services from design through deployment and resolved complex issues in production environments.

Your expertise lies in .NET Core and ASP.NET, and you have a proven track record of designing and developing robust, scalable backend services and APIs. You understand the importance of clean, maintainable code and are committed to high code quality and documentation standards.

You are well-versed in microservices architecture and have experience implementing message-driven communication systems that are reliable and fault-tolerant. Your skills in database design allow you to create efficient, normalized schemas and optimize data access logic effectively.

You proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions, ensuring that the backend services you develop can handle high loads and maintain performance under pressure. You are comfortable collaborating with DevOps teams to improve containerization and deployment pipelines, enhancing the overall development workflow.
