Amazon is hiring an Engineering Operation Technician to maintain mission-critical technology infrastructure in Avondale, Arizona. You'll work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure 99.999% uptime. This position requires hands-on troubleshooting skills and knowledge of data center operations.
You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting equipment and are eager to learn about data center operations. Your attention to detail ensures that you maintain high standards of uptime and reliability in mission-critical environments.
You possess a basic understanding of three-phase electrical systems, including switch gear, UPSs, and PDUs. You are comfortable working with diesel generators and related fuel systems, and you have a keen interest in maintaining and operating cooling systems such as centrifugal chillers and air handlers. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to contribute to a diverse team of engineers.
Experience with AWS infrastructure services is a plus, as is familiarity with data center operations. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that enhance operational efficiency. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to take on challenges will set you apart in this role.
