Xometry is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and guide software implementation across engineering teams. You'll work with Java, C#, and AWS to build reliable solutions for the manufacturing marketplace.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in guiding technical projects and mentoring engineers. Your expertise in Java and C# allows you to contribute effectively to architectural plans and implementation. You are comfortable with both traditional and cutting-edge technologies, and you have a knack for identifying the right tools and methods to enhance productivity. You enjoy teaching and mentoring others, helping them grow their skills and navigate complex technical challenges. Your experience includes conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve code quality across teams.
Experience with AWS is a plus, as you will be working in a cloud environment. Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative tools will help you thrive in this role. You are open to exploring new technologies and approaches, always looking for ways to innovate and improve processes.
