Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in data engineering with expertise in SQL and proficiency in data pipeline development using dbt. With at least 5 years of experience, you have designed and maintained data systems that support business decision-making through impactful visualizations. Your advanced SQL querying skills allow you to extract and manipulate data efficiently, ensuring that stakeholders have access to the insights they need. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about leveraging big data and machine learning to drive innovation.

Desirable

Experience with cloud-native platforms and familiarity with the automotive industry would be a plus. You are comfortable working with various data technologies and have a keen interest in optimizing ETL processes. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, enabling you to bridge the gap between data engineering and business objectives.

You will optimize and streamline data workflows to ensure efficiency and reliability, enabling the organization to leverage data for strategic decision-making. Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, you will identify data requirements and implement solutions that enhance data accessibility and usability. You will also be responsible for monitoring data quality and performance, ensuring that the data systems you build are scalable and resilient.

Your work will directly impact the automotive retail ecosystem, as you contribute to the development of innovative solutions that connect OEMs, retailers, and consumers. You will stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking ways to improve data processes and drive innovation within the organization. As a Staff Data Engineer, you will mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
