SpaceX is hiring a Principal Electrical Design Engineer for the Starlink team to develop customer-facing products and devices. You'll work with technologies like Altium Designer and Embedded Linux in Bastrop, TX.
You have 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in designing and developing consumer hardware products. Your expertise includes working with high-volume production and you have a strong understanding of embedded systems. You are proficient in using Altium Designer for PCB design and have experience with embedded Linux systems. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about creating innovative solutions that connect people to the internet. You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to reality.
Experience with satellite communication systems or RF design is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory compliance for consumer electronics will help you navigate the complexities of product development. You are comfortable mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge to foster a culture of learning within the team.
