Overview

Dropbox is hiring a Lead Technical Account Manager to manage and grow a team of Solutions Consultants in the EMEA region. You'll leverage your technical expertise in API integrations, AI technologies, and enterprise security to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in managing technical teams, with experience in a global organization that has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex sales motions. Your leadership style emphasizes coaching and mentorship, enabling your team to excel in their roles while aligning closely with sales leads and the global Solutions organization. You possess deep technical expertise in API integrations, AI technologies, and enterprise security, allowing you to act as a trusted advisor to both your team and customers.

Your experience in a startup environment has honed your ability to adapt and innovate, making you comfortable with the fast-paced nature of the tech industry. You are fluent in English and ideally have proficiency in an additional European language, enhancing your ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and clients. You understand the importance of customer feedback and are skilled at channeling this information to influence product development and strategy.

Desirable

Experience with tools such as Okta, Symantec, Darktrace, Snowflake, Glean, AWS, Atlassian, and Slack will be advantageous in this role, as they are integral to the solutions you will be managing. A Master's degree in Computer Science is preferred, providing you with a solid foundation in technical concepts and problem-solving skills.

What you'll do

As the Solutions Manager for the EMEA region, you will be responsible for managing and scaling the Solutions team into a world-class technical function. This involves executing regional strategies in collaboration with Sales and Customer Success teams to drive revenue growth. You will work closely with the global Solutions organization to ensure that your team is equipped to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.

You will act as a subject matter expert on Dropbox products, leveraging your technical expertise to support the adoption of new product offerings in the EMEA market, particularly focusing on AI and security solutions. Your role will require you to partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to ensure technical alignment throughout the customer journey, from pre-sales to post-sales.

Driving operational efficiency across the region will be a key responsibility, ensuring that all sales engagements receive the necessary technical support to succeed. You will represent customer feedback and market needs back to Product and global leadership, influencing the roadmap and ensuring that Dropbox's offerings align with customer expectations.
