SpaceX is hiring a Production Coordinator for the Heatshield team to ensure timely delivery of parts for integration and testing. You'll work closely with planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to maintain workflow consistency. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
You have experience in production coordination or a related field, ensuring timely delivery of components and managing logistics effectively. You understand the importance of workflow consistency and accuracy, and you are skilled at monitoring and tracking parts through various stages of production. You are detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that all parts are protected and handled according to specifications. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including planning, procurement, engineering, and production, to maintain clean and accurate data in MRP/ERP systems. You are proactive in resolving issues related to incorrect system data that may affect production schedules or lead to failures.
In this role, you will monitor and track the movement of parts through the company to ensure they are delivered on time to the next production location. You will be responsible for pushing and pulling physical movement of parts through various work centers, including receiving inspection and stock rooms. You will promote workflow consistency and work to reduce internal logistics lead-time. You will coordinate off-site processing of parts and collaborate with production supervisors and managers to ensure all metrics-driven action requirements are completed. You will develop and maintain reports that highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints for both internal and customer use. Your role will involve assisting production leadership in driving results through the use of metrics and ensuring that all parts are handled properly.
