Mintel is seeking an Office Manager to oversee the smooth operations of their South APAC offices, including Kuala Lumpur. This role involves a variety of administrative responsibilities, ensuring a well-functioning work environment.

Who you are

You have a strong background in office management, with experience in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. You are skilled in managing office supplies procurement and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to inventory management. Your ability to coordinate facility maintenance and liaise with building management ensures that all repairs and improvements are handled promptly. You understand the importance of health and safety standards and are proactive in carrying out risk assessments and taking corrective actions when necessary. You have experience managing budgets and invoices, ensuring maximum value for money on all expenditures. Your strong communication skills allow you to effectively manage relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders.

What you'll do

As the Office Manager at Mintel, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the South APAC offices, including Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Thailand, India, Australia, and New Zealand. You will manage the procurement and distribution of office supplies, ensuring that all teams have the resources they need to operate effectively. Your role will involve coordinating meetings and events, as well as providing business travel and visa support for employees. You will prepare and monitor the yearly office budget, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and managed efficiently. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, coordinating facility maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Your ability to negotiate with suppliers will be crucial in managing costs related to properties and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide general assistance and support, fostering a collaborative and productive workplace culture.
