Billing Specialist

Who you are

You have 3-5 years of billing experience, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment. Your background includes complex contract review, and you possess a solid understanding of billing and financial concepts. You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities are part of your skill set, allowing you to work effectively in stressful situations with firm deadlines. You pay high attention to detail and are capable of making timely, independent decisions. Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.com is a huge plus, as is your keen eye for spotting errors.

What you'll do

In this role, you will prepare and process daily billings to ensure that client invoices are accurate and consistent with contractual requirements, issuing them on a timely basis. You will research and resolve billing, credit, and accounts receivable issues, reviewing and reconciling account balances in Accounts Receivable. Collaboration is key, as you will interface with internal customer service and support organizations on customer inquiries. You will assess current billing operations, offer recommendations for improvement, and assist with implementing new processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to assist with ad-hoc projects and miscellaneous tasks.
