SpaceX is hiring a Crane Technician to support the maintenance and operation of crane assets across their facilities. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
You have experience in crane operations and maintenance, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. You excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously and have a proven track record of problem-solving in a technical environment. You understand the importance of preventative maintenance and are skilled at coordinating tasks to ensure seamless operations. As a Crane Technician at SpaceX, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all crane assets across campus. You will support a team that ensures zero unplanned interruptions of services to employees and customers. Your role will involve coordinating the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and scope of work enforcement for facilities crane operations and elevator services. You will develop and administer an effective preventative maintenance program, opening, tracking, and resolving electronic work tickets on SpaceX’s custom work order system. You will consult with production engineering and facilities construction for required crane systems, prioritizing tasks and projects effectively to drive department efficiency and eliminate blockers to critical path.
