SoFi is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the evolution of their personal loans platform. You'll work on critical design and implementation efforts, resolving complex technical challenges. This role requires expertise in Java and significant experience in software engineering.
You have over 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on leading design and implementation efforts across complex platform domains. Your expertise allows you to navigate competing constraints and resolve significant ambiguity in technical projects. You are recognized as a subject matter expert in various platform systems, capable of identifying and coordinating the resolution of systemic issues. You possess the ability to define long-term architectural directions for critical areas of the platform, aligning multiple teams around a shared vision. You thrive in environments where you can influence multi-team or organization-wide outcomes, and you are passionate about revolutionizing the lending landscape.
Experience with financial services platforms or similar industries is a plus. Familiarity with cloud technologies and modern software development practices will enhance your ability to contribute effectively.
