SpaceX is seeking a Build Specialist for their Starship project at Starbase, TX. You'll collaborate with production leadership to drive engineering standards and streamline manufacturing processes. This role requires a commitment to tackling complex challenges in a demanding environment.

Your experience in manufacturing processes allows you to identify and eliminate inefficiencies, ensuring that builds are executed with excellence. You are detail-oriented and can manage tools to communicate schedules and track progress effectively. Your ability to interface with engineers and technicians is crucial in advancing manufacturing flow and addressing any blockers that arise. You are committed to supporting the development of new assembly designs and are proactive in identifying the need for shop aids to enhance the build process.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the production leadership team to drive engineering standards for excellence in builds. You will interface with engineers and technicians to streamline manufacturing flow, eliminating unnecessary scope and downtime. Your responsibilities will include creating and managing tools to communicate schedules, identifying critical paths and dependencies, and tracking progress build over build. You will review and triage work order feedback, working with process planning to incorporate necessary changes into in-process work orders and future engineering revisions. Additionally, you will support the first build process development for new and changing assembly designs, which may involve process and equipment design as well as physical operations. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that the Starship project meets its ambitious goals.
