Temporary Payroll Tax Accountant

Who you are

You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to audit and reconcile payroll tax filings effectively. You understand the importance of accuracy and compliance in payroll tax submissions and are committed to resolving variances and filing amendments as needed. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for auditing and reconciling approximately 200 federal, state, and local payroll tax filings for five U.S. entities from CY2020 to present. You will ensure that every payroll tax dollar is accurately submitted and will research any variances identified during the audit process. You will resolve tax notices and file amendments directly with federal, state, and local agencies. You will work closely with the Senior Manager of Payroll to ensure compliance and accuracy in all payroll tax matters. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of payroll tax filings and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
