Amazon is seeking a Financial Analyst for their Ads FP&A team to conduct financial analyses and support strategic planning. You'll leverage data-driven insights to influence decision-making and communicate financial performance. This role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of experience.
You have a bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field such as Engineering, Math, or Computer Science. With at least 1 year of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses, you are adept at building financial and operational reports that inform business decision-making. Your strong communication and organizational skills enable you to effectively prioritize and complete timely deliverables, ensuring that you meet the needs of various stakeholders.
You possess a keen analytical mindset, allowing you to conduct comprehensive financial analyses and strategic planning across advertising sales initiatives. You are skilled at analyzing complex data sets to provide clear and simplified insights that influence real-time decision-making. Your experience in driving consolidation, standardization, and process improvement for global reporting mechanisms demonstrates your ability to enhance operational efficiency.
Experience in a fast-paced environment, particularly within the advertising or technology sectors, is a plus. Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting techniques will further enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team.
In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Sales, and Business stakeholders to help shape Ad Sales leadership’s strategy in a fast-evolving marketplace. You will leverage data-driven insights to influence decision-making and communicate financial performance to senior leadership. Your contributions will support long-term planning and drive standardization and centralization across global sales teams and an expanding suite of ad products.
You will be responsible for conducting detailed financial analyses that inform strategic decisions and help guide the direction of Amazon's advertising business. This includes analyzing trends, preparing reports, and presenting findings to senior management. You will also play a key role in developing and maintaining financial models that support various business initiatives.
Collaboration is essential in this position, as you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives. You will be expected to drive process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the finance team. Your ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner will be critical to your success.
