Google is seeking a Customer Engineering Manager for their AI team in Singapore. You'll lead technical conversations and drive the adoption of AI technologies in customer-facing roles. This position requires 10 years of experience in cloud native architecture and leadership skills.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in cloud native architecture, ideally in a customer-facing or support role. Your leadership experience includes people management, team lead, mentorship, or coaching, showcasing your ability to guide and develop teams effectively. You possess a strong understanding of AI technologies or concepts, as well as cloud and on-premise technologies, which allows you to engage deeply with customers and their needs. You have a proven track record of leading technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops with customers, demonstrating your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. Your experience in driving the adoption of specialized workloads with executive and technical domain experts highlights your strategic thinking and ability to influence key stakeholders. You are adept at tailoring and delivering compelling messages to different audiences, asking strategic questions, and leading conversations that accelerate value realization and business opportunities. Your ability to influence cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Partners, is crucial in impacting business goals and enhancing customer experience.
In this role, you will oversee domain-specific prototyping and proofs-of-concept, working directly with customers, partners, and prospects to ensure successful implementation of AI solutions. You will conduct review meetings and provide insights into achieving technical wins and migration strategies, collaborating closely with various teams across Google to resolve technical roadblocks. Your role will involve providing critical feedback loops to product and engineering based on field experience, ensuring that customer needs are met and that solutions are continuously improved. You will lead efforts to drive the adoption of AI technologies within customer organizations, working to understand their unique challenges and how Google Cloud can address them. You will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within your team. Your thought leadership in AI and adjacent practice areas will position you as a key resource for both customers and internal teams, helping to strategize around holistic customer and industry solutions.
