SeatGeek is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to empower product, engineering, and design teams with actionable insights. You'll work with Looker, dbt, and SQL to analyze data and drive product strategy. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in product analytics.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, with a strong background in product analytics and a knack for translating complex data into actionable insights. You thrive in ambiguous situations and are skilled at connecting business strategy to product data, ensuring that your analyses drive meaningful improvements in user and business outcomes. Your expertise in SQL and analytical tools like Looker and dbt allows you to create and improve key datasets that support decision-making across teams.

You are a strategic thinker who enjoys collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to shape roadmaps and evaluate the impact of various opportunities. You have a passion for identifying the most meaningful opportunities to enhance user experiences and business performance. Your ability to independently lead analytical efforts, from opportunity sizing to experimental design, sets you apart as a valuable asset to any team.

Desirable

Experience with data visualization tools and a strong understanding of experimental methodologies will be beneficial in this role. Familiarity with the ticketing or live events industry is a plus, as it will help you contextualize your analyses within the broader market trends.

What you'll do

As a Senior Data Analyst at SeatGeek, you will partner closely with product, design, and engineering teams to shape team roadmaps by sizing opportunities and evaluating their impact. You will independently lead analytical efforts, utilizing both structured and unstructured data to conduct deep-dive diagnostics and provide actionable narratives that inform product development.

Your role will involve creating or improving key datasets and contributing to our analytical tooling ecosystem, ensuring that we can answer today's questions and prepare for tomorrow's challenges. You will frame and evaluate experiments using industry-best methodologies to isolate causal relationships and drive data-informed decision-making.

You will serve as a strategic thought partner in product development planning, contextualizing product analytics with broader company strategy and market trends. Your insights will empower teams to build magical experiences for fans and powerful tools for our partners, ultimately transforming the live events industry.
