Who you are

You have a strong background in finance and strategy, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a high-growth technology or financial services company. You excel at bringing structure to unstructured problems and have a proven track record of acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership. Your analytical skills are complemented by your ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly and effectively.

You are proficient in financial applications such as Oracle and Tableau, and you have experience managing headcount and operating expenses. Your technical skills include a solid understanding of SQL and Python, and you are eager to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working cross-functionally to drive business value.

Desirable

While not required, experience in data visualization and dashboarding will be beneficial. You have a keen interest in optimizing financial performance and enhancing employee experience through strategic investments. Your ability to navigate complex financial landscapes will set you apart as a candidate.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the primary finance partner to the Chief Financial Officer and the leadership teams in Corporate Development and Communications. You will leverage financial insights to guide investment decisions and improve forecast accuracy, ensuring that Stripe's resource investments drive efficiency and create long-term business value. Your responsibilities will include analyzing financial data, developing strategic recommendations, and collaborating with various teams to implement these strategies effectively.

You will be responsible for optimizing financial processes and enhancing the overall financial performance of the organization. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives. You will also play a key role in stewarding Stripe's resource investments, helping to improve the durability of long-term financial performance.
