What you'll do

As the Manager of Procurement for Starship, you will lead a team of Supply Chain Sourcing Managers and Specialists, guiding them in their efforts to secure the materials and services necessary for the successful development of the Starship program. You will define and implement procurement policies and strategies that align with SpaceX's mission to enable human life on Mars. Your role will involve making strategic sourcing decisions that impact the department and the broader organization, ensuring that the supply chain remains agile and robust.

You will spend a significant amount of time mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will also work closely with engineering and production teams to understand their needs and ensure that procurement activities support their objectives. Your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial as you engage with suppliers and negotiate contracts that deliver value to SpaceX.
