Who you are

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or possess equivalent practical experience. With at least 2 years of experience in SoC Software, Architecture, or hardware validation, you have a solid foundation in mobile, Internet of Things (IoT), or consumer electronics. Your coding skills include languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl, which you use for automating data collection, analysis, and report generation. You are familiar with lab test equipment like oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and network analyzers, which you utilize for mixed-signal validation. Your experience extends to working with pre-production silicon and evaluation platforms in a lab setting, showcasing your hands-on approach to hardware. You have a strong understanding of operating systems, including Android, iOS, and Linux, and how they interact with SoC hardware for memory management, power management, and scheduling.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. Your expertise will shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance, efficiency, and integration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and business, to support product planning and Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies. Monitoring industry trends and emerging technologies will be part of your responsibilities, as you provide analysis to guide product development. You will use data analysis tools and techniques to reconcile datasets and deliver insights, maintaining and updating internal engaging databases and repositories of technical information.
