What you'll do

As the Senior Commercial Counsel for Compute & Infrastructure at Anthropic, you will own the legal strategy for the company's compute and infrastructure portfolio. This includes negotiating and managing relationships with major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will be responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of accelerator procurement and datacenter capacity arrangements, ensuring that all agreements are favorable and compliant with applicable laws. Your role will involve advising on the most complex compute-related transactions, providing insights that shape the company's strategic direction in AI model development. You will collaborate with finance teams to manage Anthropic's largest financial commitments, ensuring that all legal implications are thoroughly assessed. Additionally, you will direct and manage outside counsel, ensuring that legal resources are effectively utilized to support the company's objectives.
