You possess a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting financial institutions, including knowledge of the FDIC and UDFI requirements. Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address emerging risks, as well as developing training programs to enhance risk management capabilities across the organization. What you'll do

As the Chief Risk Officer at Square Financial Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's risk management framework and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will lead the development and implementation of risk policies and procedures, working closely with various departments to identify and mitigate risks associated with lending services and deposit operations.

You will report directly to the CEO and maintain a direct line of communication with the Enterprise Risk and Compliance Committee, providing regular updates on the organization's risk profile and any emerging issues. Your role will involve conducting risk assessments, analyzing data to identify trends, and recommending strategies to address potential risks.

You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of risk awareness within the organization, ensuring that all employees understand their responsibilities in managing risk. This includes developing training programs and resources to enhance risk management capabilities across the organization.
